Join us as we celebrate the closing of Somwehere on the Way to Freedom by Elijah Barnes.

This event serves as a reclamation of independence, marking 250 years of freedom promised and still being pursued. Through art, conversation, and community, we will reflect on the ongoing journey toward liberation and imagine new possibilities for collective freedom.

The evening will feature a special performance by jada-amina, artist reflections, and an open mic opportunitiy to share a memory or vision of freedom.

Food and beverages will be available, with offerings from Ksquared Lemonade and Candied x Cured.
