The.BlkRoom Artist Membership Program
Since opening, we’ve hosted over 100 artists, and ‘housed’ six full rotations of members as a part of our membership program since September of 2022. TBR’s Artist Membership Program allowed artists 24/7 shared access to provided equipment, and space for a low monthly fee with no long-term commitment. Artists were able to track instruments, rehearse, record vocals, edit videos and exercise any other fundamentally artistic activities on their own accord. Members shared space with a community of rotating monthly members, and were given the opportunity to schedule individual sessions or create amongst each other throughout the duration of their membership.
As we progressed and grew, TBRs capacity for managing our studio loft space was overwhelmed, and we quickly outgrew our previous home. As a result, TBR’s studio space was closed in January 2023. Now settling into our new home, we are excited to relaunch our Membership Program and continue pushing our mission forward on the West Side of the city. With a bigger space, we are so excited to continue to harbor community and create opportunities for BIPOC Artist.
Individual Membership
TBR’s membership program allows artists shared access to provided equipment, and space for a low monthly fee with no long-term commitment. Artists are able to track instruments, rehearse, record vocals, edit videos and exercise any other fundamentally artistic activities on their own accord.
Members are also able to host meetings, and use the common spaces for co-working purposes with the ability to share space with a community of rotating monthly members and are given the opportunity to schedule individual sessions or create amongst each other throughout the duration of their membership.
Collective Membership
Our Collective Membership Program provides businesses, organizations, and collectives with scheduled access to our coworking space to conduct meetings, engage in collaborative brainstorming, and foster teamwork amongst each other and other creatives and collectives. TBR’s membership program allows shared access to provided equipment, and space for a low monthly fee with no long-term commitment.
Collectives are able to utilize our space and host events, workshops, meetings, small gatherings and exercise any other fundamentally artistic activities on their own accord. Members are also given the ability to share space with a community of rotating monthly members and are given the opportunity to schedule individual sessions or create amongst each other throughout the duration of their membership.
